A tropical rainforest biome is found in hot, humid environments in equatorial climates.

Tropical rainforest climate facts. Veiled stinkhorn fungi, found in tropical rainforests, smell like rotting food! Rainforests nearest to the equator, where the climate is very hot and wet all through the year, are evergreen because the trees can grow all of the time and so are always in leaf. Forests affect the weather worldwide by reducing temperature extremes and helping to regulate the climate.

The weather in the tropical rainforest is rainy yet pleasant all year round, day or night. First of all, there are many different types of rainforests. Forests in tropical and temperate regions have a cooling effect, whereas boreal forests found in high northern latitudes make their climate warmer.

Tropical rainforests experience this tropical climate, a climate without any dry season. Tropical monsoon forests have a climate similar to tropical rainforests, except for rainfall patterns. The wide range of plants encourages a huge variety of insects, birds and animals.

What is the climate of the rainforest? These forest types form a mosaic of vegetation types which contribute to the incredible diversity of the tropics. Tropical rainforests are an important ecosystem with distinct characteristics and adaptations.

The rain forest climate sounds ideal, but it is very humid here and there are lots of mosquitoes and bugs. While it is true that most of the rainforests on the earth are tropical rainforests which grow in the areas along the equator in hot climate, there are also subtropical and temperate rainforests , which grow in surprisingly cool areas. Not only that, tropical rainforests are also one of our best natural defences against climate change, but they are dying.

Approximately 1500 flowering plant species, 750 types of trees and many plants can be found which help in battling cancer. It is known for its dense canopies of vegetation that form three different layers. Monsoon climates can be found in southern asia and west africa.
